After much contemplating between the creamy and crunchy version, i bought the creamy, unsalted jar. (The one with the oil flowing on top)

My review:
Its less sweet compared to Skippy
Stirring and mixing the oil and the peanut butter is hard. I am unable to mix it evening so end up in a chunk, by chunk.
Very thick, tacky for me. sticks to my teeth.

Very thick because not stirred properly.
Get long metal chopstick, create a hole on the lid, then slot the chopstick and just turn. Take it as forearm exercise :)

i haven't see a crunchy version yet. where did you buy it? i bought 3 creamy from ntuc airport yday.

to give it a smooth finish, you need to stir it for at least 10 mins. use either a knife or fork. keep poking it to let the oil flow to the bottom first. if ya using a fork, stir and press the fork towards the bottle to break up those chunk.

PS. you need a strong spoon and fork.

Damn... Nothing is safe nowadays :(. quoted from wikipedia:

The peanut plant is susceptible to the mold Aspergillus flavus which produces a carcinogenic substance called aflatoxin.[9] Since it is impossible to completely remove every instance of aflatoxins, contamination of peanuts and peanut butter is monitored in many countries to ensure safe levels of this carcinogen. In 1990, a study showed that average American peanut butter contained an average of 5.7 parts per billion of aflatoxins, per the U.S. Food and Drug Administration guidelines of 20 parts per billion.[10][11]

Any sugar inside

I am diabetic. I checked the ingredients and it didn't mentioned any sugar. i just need to be sure that this is safe for diabetics on low sugar diet restrictions. Thanks

i mean looking for any version of unsalted, not just organic

The organic version is creamy type, and contains 1% or less of salt.

So you mean you die die need to have 0% salt? Hmmm.... wonder what is the big difference between 1% salt content and 0%? How will the 1% affect our bodies? Can anyone enlighten me? :s22:

1 typical serving is 33gr. 1% of salt is abt 330mg. Our body need only abt 2000mg sodium per day, so, less salt is always better, more so for those who take many servings of peanut butter per day.

Less salt is not necessary the best. It helps body retain fluid, maintain blood pressure, etc.. Just take in moderation.
