adguard vs ublock origin/lite

recently changed to adguard ( because it can block YT )
using Edge.

did I make the correct decision?

issue is YT bro..not normal browsing as most adblock is able do it nicely

Nextdns is something like a firewall, does ad and track blocking as well.

VPN useful for encrypting your internet traffic and masks your IP address.

I'm using various blocklist including StevenBlack, Zaczero, HaGeZi etc as aggressive as I can go without breaking any banking apps.

Why use dns when you have a vpn? The vpn provider will protect its dns queries besides normal net traffic

DNS is use for protecting dns queries. It don't protect normal net traffic. It's useful if you don't use a VPN
