I paid $5 for surgery and abt $50 for medicine??. Cant remember exactly. Its subsized under gov hospital.

Most common?Hmm.. not sure. When I was 19, I went polyclinic as its a go-to place to NSF boys for subsidized healthcare... in Singapore, that is. See the Dr. and ask for his opinion if u rqe this surgery.

Hmm I see. I am not to sure if I should jump all the way to surgery though instead of trying other alternatives

Yep, will go for a check:)

It is worthwhile to consult a doctor first with regards to circumcision. For all you know, you might not need one. And if your do, at least you get to discuss more about the procedure from the doctor like side effects, possible complications, risks vs benefits etc. I have seen quite a few patients who was able to avoid circumcision. So it depends on a case by case basis.

Hope this helps

just did mine on thursday, had severe complications and whole shaft was necrotic. 2 emergency surgeries later, managed to reverse the damage but it’s still in very bad shape.

i expected to go home the same day, but now i’m having to stay here at least a few weeks.

not to mention the sheer amount of pain i feel all the time.

had i seen the complications coming, i’d rather live with a painful erection for my whole life

i also did during NS. it was less painful than i thought. only problem was erections but the pain was bearable. i used disposable underwear the first week.
had 2weeks + 2weeks MC cause a small part of the wound didn't fully heal up, no complications.

I'm sorry this had to happen to you. Pain? Arent you taking the painkillers? The first few days I experienced were indeed uncomfortable and made me regret the surgery. My shaft was indeed very swollen and strange looking. After 2-3 months, I never looked back, very happy I made the decision. Speedy recovery dude. Give it time. Keep it off your mind

The docs can’t give me any painkillers, they need me to be able to feel for where has sensation. I’m slowly getting feeling back, but it’s still mostly necrotic and it just outrightedly looks black in colour.

EDIT: The stitch areas are throbbing 24/7, and everywhere else is just painful on contact. docs come in every hour to squeeze different parts and test the blood flow. “the most painful thing in my life” is an understatement

Call the Urologist clinic of the hospital. Hospital hotline

Thanks , called.. seems SGH has only conventional method, checking with other Government hospitals.

UPDATE: tried TTSH, KTPH etc.. none of them replies with solid answer. all of the hotline call officers say "dont know" or "doctor need to decide"

Can’t comment on that atm cos i’m still here, sorry

Bro, u did with laser or conventional?

Hey guys, just wondering do I have to shave my pubic hair before the surgery or would they do the shaving/trimming for me ?

I shaved before mine, and when I arrived for the surgery, the docs were advising me that they will trim/shave my pubic areas for hygiene/maintenance reasons, but I told them I already shaved, so I guess the docs already routinely plan/prepare to shave the patients going in.

I think it's better to shave yourself, as they may not shave the everything, as it takes time to do it, and even more time to make it pretty, but only the areas that might affect the surgery or make cleaning post-surgery difficult, so the rest of what's left will look super weird.
