I have a old 3.5 hitachi hdd I might want to add on with the new WD. Is b85 good enough?

I think I overshot my 1st budget

B85 is good enough. U can add in ur old hdd, as ur mobo should have 4 sata cables for 4 hdd/ssd and ur psu should have enough sata power cables.

Thanks shadow84 :)
OK then I'll go with b85 g43 gaming. For the on board sound.

What do u think the total price will be excluding my salvaged stuff. A rough estimate will do !

Wun recommend B85 gaming. So many PCI slots which you wun really use. PCI-e slot is more handy.

B85m G43 would be good. And it is cheaper by about $40.

Ah... OK. Thanks

2nd and 3rd row of expansion slots will be undesirable for use on these motherboards since graphics card installed on 1st slot will block out 2nd slot and 3rd slot is required to empty out for adequate ventilation to graphics card above. So it will be futile to think that those slots are useful. :o

Simi anti virus?

Could have been cheaper if u had gotten the MSI b85m G43 or Asrock B85m Pro4.. but o well.

U self assembled or asked Tp to assemble for u?

Did u bargain?

Their invoice now . All put price under one item which made us hard to see the pricing for each item .

That is because they dont want to break down the price on receipt.

Cause if distro were to see, they will deemed as anyhow sell.

If they wer to put all into 1 pricing they lanlan, they cant say ehh why you sell this price.

Work before in procurement job thats why i know why they do that.
