Main use is for lightroom photo processing.

I will need

Good CPU
32 GB RAM
1 or 2 TB SSD
Entry or Average GPU
24 to 27 inch monitor
Using windows
Using lightroom mainly. Casual hobbyist

Full ATX is preferred. As I believe better for system overall. Air and heat.
Ok for microATX

Added: budget $1,500
Thank you.

lightroom leans mainly on cpu, and hardly uses gpu. the performance uplift when using a midrange to high end card like the 3080 is only around 10%, so id say its better off to maximise budget on cpu and run off integrated/cheap dedicated graphics. speaking of which, what is ur budget?

13600k more than enough, LR don't really need multicore, just need a fast single core.

plenty of money to play with, assuming budget is for pc only.
cpu + mobocore i7 13700 + gigabyte b760m aorus elite ax d5831fuwell
coolerthermalright peerless assassin 120 *157mm height57tradepac
ramgskill ripjaws s5 2x 16gb 5600mhz ddr5145bizgram
ssdwd black sn850x 1tb130tradepac
psunzxt c650 gold130tradepac
with a $150 budget for a m/atx case of ur choice, total is up to $1443. if need to accommodate monitor, i would change the above to the following:
cpu + moboryzen 5 7600 + asus tuf gaming b650m plus wifi589 (574 + 15 for combo only)dynacore
ramgskill flare x5 2x 16gb 5600mhz ddr5 expo145bizgram
u can also even drop the cooler, as ryzen non x parts sip power and the box cooler is generally adequate. this would give u about $300-350 for a decent 27" monitor.

quiet operation with low cpu temps. intel stock cooler is not that great, especially for a power hungry cpu like the 13700.
is there any computer case that will work with thermalright peerless assassin 120 *157mm height? how can I check the height?

You can easily double your RAM if you don't mind buying from Amazon

as mentioned before, getting a dedicated gpu wont boost performance much in lightroom and would be a waste as u are not gaming. id rather spend less extra money (~$110) on getting the faster 13700. id also go for the asus rog strix 750w (which is basically a rebranded focus) if it is in stock or msi mpg a750gf, both under $150.

thats the same capacity, but u lose local warranty support.

Actually these software like blender or hitfilm, when doing rendering or encoding will stress the cpu even more than gaming, my 12700 playing cyberpunk only 65+C, but rendering for blender hits 75+C. That is with arctic lf 280 aio.

LR normal operation won't stress your cpu that much, but during exports if you have a lot of files, that is one of the time it will stress your cpu as it will use those 8 cores available.
