How about the local JTB here at ION? Saves time and hassle of looking for places to purchase over there. It's open ended also.

personally I like Tokyo Tower more than Skytree

the scale of the Skytree when viewed at a closer distance is pretty amazing... it really impresses on you how large it is

Tokyo Tower has more of a "grand old lady" feel to it...

You can go to the 50th floor of Toranomon and can see Tokyo Tower from up high. It isn't a viewing gallery like the one at Mori Building BUT it is FREE

do be discrete or ninja.... it is a hotel floor and there could be people about

You can actually purchase the tickets at the Disneyland japan website. I went Disney Paris and I bought online and print out. I going Disneyland Japan in Sep and I check also can buy at their website.

Toranomon does not have an observatory...

the 50th floor is accessible, it actually is the hotel lobby iirc :s22:

the windows where you can see Tokyo tower and a bit of Odaiba to the left are kinda easy to find.

the 51st floor is off limits to general public unless you are a wedding guest

I am going to visit Tokyo Tower soon. Magnificent one!!!:s13:

Visit the Sky Tree too! ( but the ticket queue can be much longer ) But like what cancer81 mentioned, I too find Tokyo Tower having a unique old school charm.

Depends on how crazy you are over Hello Kitty stuffs... If so so only... i think will still take half a day... if u are very crazy over those stuffs... 1 day is not enough...

That time i reach late morning... went in straight away got some sort of performance... until abt 12plus... go their canteen eat those cute Hello Kitty theme set lunch... until 1plus... go for all the rides/shows... did not managed to try all as we wanted to shop for gifts and souvenirs... stay at the shop until closed... smelly smelly spent 50k yen... 5-6 bags of goodies...
