For me I always buy it from the shop inside the shrine.

The vendor overcharging is not first incident to first time tourists.

yup ... inside buy is one set 50b (small) 100b (big)
outside is at least 5x or more ...

Went in aug, can use the incense stick, but not lighted up ...

So there is a counter for us to purchase our praying material? Is there a specific order for the praying to be done? For example do we pray at the main hall where the Buddha is first, then the Four-faced Buddha shrine?

The counter is insider the shrine. Once u enter, its at the right hand side.

Most ppl pray clockwise.

Regarding which side represent what, i also kinda confuse. Coz diff ppl say diff thing.

I want to say when I pray to Phra Phom for a successful job interview, to my surprise Phra Phom granted my wish and in return I get a good offer, will be going on 26th to 29th Sept to return prayers, I think one had to be sincere to pray then Phra Phom will fulfill your wish, and if you promise, be vegan, don't do bad habit, or anything must keep it...
Zhun or coincidence, I think just need to believe...

sharing what i know......

1. 4 faces, 1st face- studies and career // 2nd face- PR. love, RS // 3. money related // 4. family, health, harmony etc

2. when praying, must intro yourself very detailed and clearly. say ur name, DOB, your home address.

3. if 1 2 make wish, make sure u say until v detail. for e.g., win toto. win how much? by when u want to win etc. if ask for gf, what kind of girl? tall, slim, sporty, demure etc. lastly, how and when will you repay if your wish come true? e.g. come back and repay before dec, next yr Jan? buy flower, coconut drink or?

4. personal exp. pray for work and kinda came true. can't really always go back bkk. so i will go bukit merah or macpherson there to pray (these 2 temples also got 4 face buddha) to pray and repay.

5. diff ppl has diff saying. some ppl say 2nd face is for family etc. most imptly is sincere. last time can burn joss sticks all these but now cannot.
