Advice on 4 face Buddha

Not sure if correct anot but for me i do return and wish again same day. I think all is about our heart. Personally think there is No wrong or right

agree, no special techniques or process. just pray sincerely & truthfully from your heart. in fact nobody stopping you if you wish to pray there daily

I watched 2 to 3 tw/hk youtube video, all said the same thing.

then ytd I watched on video...they say different thing. then I read the 1st few post from this thread, also say different thing.

so..the 4 faces represent

1st face - career/academic
2nd face - love, r/s, ren yuan
3rd face - wealth
4th face - health, family

anyone can advise if the above is correct?

There are alot of experts who watch youtube or read elsewhere could comment or copy what they seen elsewhere.

To me Phra Phom is originated from India. Thai has their style of prayers which is very similar but still different to the indians.

Who is Brahma Sahampati ?

Suggest those whom does not know could possibly check with masters better.

Who say anticlockwise prayers is not allowed or not correct ?

Anyway for Singaporeans you could just ask thai monks locally and they can guide you with the basics already.

If wish granted must we say make a trip to Bangkok to pray. Or there is other ways to return thanks?

Does not mean you wish in thailand and u need go to the same spot. No need.
All Lord Brahma Sahampati and/or Phra Phom images are good enough.

Unless Unless you say you will come back to BKK to erawan to return thanks or fulfilled your thanks then different. If you need extension due to whatever reasons to return, any phra phom image is good enough to delicate your thanks.

Worst come to worst, face the sky ... can delicate your request for extending your returning with incense. He whom is almighty can hear you.

I know we have to buy 12 joss stick, 4 candles and 4 flower (referring to erawan shrine in bkk). they say must light up candle first. so is it I need to go 1st round (to all 4 sides) to put the candle first? after that go to individual side and pray (with joss sticks). after that, go one more round to put the flower? total 3 rounds?

or I can like stop at 1st side, put candle, joss stick and flower at one go?

or there's actually no 'fix rule' or what. some say if u want to wish for something, you have to pray with 7 or 9 joss sticks. 3 joss stick is just for normal blessing

don't light up the candles first.

light up the 12 joss sticks
pray at 1 face ( i always start from the left face and end at the front)
place 3x joss sticks
light up 1 candle, place the candle, offer the flowers
just repeat until you're done.
offer some money to the donation box if you want to.
sprinkle yourself with the holy water (usually on your head, left/right shoulders, front & back).

No need see what video ... Dun monkey see monkey do ... what you eat vs the guy whom is pray also eat different.

Somemore funny say see do what the thais do ... then follow them loh.

There is no fixed rules how to pray ...

I have shared with a few closed friends the way i do or some i dun waste my time sharing cos end of the day they will do the style they like.... Some no need teach, they follow me go ERAWAN shrine, and they follow very closely. Of course they got VIP treatments and also VIP wishes and VIP results.

Dun be too rigid what is the correct way to pray... but first understand whom is there ... what is there... how to ask... lastly how to offer your praise and request.

Several times sharped eye manager of dancing troupe tell me go pray and offer incense then hire dancer ... i tell him now short Q so i hire first ... he Laughs and say pray first lah ... wahahah ...

after the dance then i start buuying my incense and offering of items.

how many candles ? 4 or none
incense ? 1000000000 sticks .... haha (it can be 3 for the front and 1 each - total 6 or 12 stick each 3 or none)
Flowers 1 or 4 or 7 (dun ask me why cos i dun explain) hahaha
So many other stuffs can be done there ...

as said clockwise anti clockwise depend what u need and not hearsay and not copy cat...

Donation ? needed ? up to you but i believe the money can be better donating rice and books to the thai poor and needy ...

What is the practice if you want to buy coconut/fruits as offerings? Do you put coconut at the front first and then go around pray with joss sticks? Or light up joss sticks and candles then pray finish before buying coconut to put?

Hi all,

It's my 1st time to pray to 四面佛，last sat(15/4) I followed the procedure how my BF do it because I have no idea. I prayed to change my job and hopfully shortlisted to get the next job recommended by my friend(I just check with her, looks like not getting it) but today I was terminated by my company.

I also prayed for safety / health & peace for my family.

PS: I didn't pray for wealth, but I have the urge to buy 4d today. I don't really buy 4D, haha don't even know how to shade the numbers

I did say i'll return to pray, but I nv give time frame.
what am I suppose to do now? wait till my wishes come true then go BKK or??
