My suggestion is that you bring your kids to butterfly farm in Teluk Bahang. Your kids should love the butterfly and a few insects in the farm and proceed to Tropical Fruits Farm to taste various tropical fruits (season and nonseason). A few fruits are not common found in Southern Asia.

One of your morning you may want to explore George Town heritage site likes Pinang Peranakan Manson, Khoo Kongsi, Blue Manson and etc. If you are you interested in seafood, you may proceed to Balik Pulau or Bukit Tambun in mainland.

Kek Lok Si Temple and Penang Hill visit on the same day. Hope this helps.

A Malaysian tourist guide.

thanks for the suggestion.

sunway hotel and cititel are more closer to kopitiams or street food. On other hand, armenian street has a few kopitiams but most of them do not open at night.

New Lane hawker food is just below Sunway Hotel. Nice pig intestine porridge if like that kind of porridge, Cuttlefish and kankong also good there - Lots of food at this location.

I created a simple Penang tourist attraction website, experience-malaysia.com/my_travel/northern-region/penang.html. Firefox may have problems loading the photos. You may try to use other browsers. Some links are still broken or not ready for an official launching. Any comments or suggestions are always welcome. Please do not post your comments or feedback on this forum. The nearest shopping mall to cititel is 1st avenue, prangin mall and komtar and walk about 10 minutes. the latter two malls are not so popular to locals these days. the locals prefer 1st avenue or some distance away from George Town likes Queensbay, Gurney Paragon or Gurney Plaza.
