(particle used by male speakers to sound polite and deferential, sometimes corresponding to "Sir" or "Yes, sir")

ดีกว่า-dee gwaa

[to be] better than,rather.

Eg. Between a food court and street food stall i rather eat in food court as it is air-conditioned.

It so hot,it better to go for a swim.
