hmmm for ZERO DAC what kind of modifications is suggested? and where to get ZERO DAC?

i am getting uber confused by what i read on VRZ -_-

I don't think so. Anyway, the price difference is not that great.

If budget is really a concern, maybe you can consider Creative Gigaworks series or Altec Lansing MX5021 during the upcoming Sitex.

MX5021 not much discount during Sitex also, at most $199 and free cheap headset.

Haha thanks guys... Bought Aego M yesteraday liao =X The sound indeed great when listening from audio disc but as for mp3 not much different. The sound at the shop is much warmer den what i hear at home

Why is it that many people seems to suggest using DAC instead of soundcard with Aego-M? How about for other speakers?

DAC is external so no interfarence from the electronic inside yr pc. however no 5.1 support etc.. DAC is suspose to have better sound quality compare to soundcard but must see the chips and caps use also. dun be confuse a sound card is a DAC also but just internal cause the digital signal have to convert to analog before it can be play out

AegoM is a speakers that can reveal details and thus mp3 (low kbp) one will sound life less.. no dynamic at all..

Why need to know the power ratings? The ratings can be pretty misleading.

I think the most important factor is to believe in your ears.

The chip used for the satellites is TDA7374 and th sub TDA7396.

Go google for the datasheet and you'll know not to trust any end-product manufacturor rating.

MP3 on crap speaker vs MP3 on good speaker

Even though the flaws in the MP3 will be more obvious compared to lossless, of the two setups above, which do you think will sound better ultimately?

u can wait long long.. u pray another shop or distributor parallel import some sets in to complete lor or another change to the official distributor of AE
