Hi may i know how u all connect aego m to yr pc? I using onboard sound. But no matter how i plug, somehow only the left sattelite got sound, the right dosen't have. Cos when i unplug left, the right side still no sound, but if unplug right, left still got sound.
I using the cable with the black, red and white pin to connect my pc to the sub, pc Line in to Sub left right. Then connect the 2 long speakers wire with some wire out to the sub left right connector for the sattelite respectively. Can help?

the red white black cable is for tv i guess.

I use the fat white cable that is made up of a couple of cables, only one plug to the audio output of pc. works like magic ^ ^

yeah. so the back part to your pc. and red white to your sub. there are 2 red/white and black cables in the package right? one of them has a sort of a thicker joint at one part. don't use that one.

instead, use the cable that is without the thicker rubber portion. works for me.

hope this helps.

yeah it does feel a little dusty.

but hmm.. tried the speakers out just now. the aego M is slightly better than my old speakers (just a mid-range one) but not a hell lot better... and I'm using zero DAC somemore. is it the problem with my ears? lol. I even tried playing FLAC files but they were not much better.

open your sound options and check your balance. probably skewed to one side. set it in the middle :)

just got my set from audio act electronics. tried my luck cus i couldn't get them on the phone. luckily they were open

hmm i've been testing them against my current LG mini 5.1 home theatre system set up now and i must say i'm quite disappointed. these sound overly bright, and have virtually no soundstaging at all. There's just no depth to the sound; very single layered. i've tried them at varying heights, and all kinds of different positions, using items to prop them on higher levels when necessary, with some result, but my previous observations stand. I can DISTINCTLY tell the sound coming out of each speaker and pinpoint their positions even blindly, so they sound really aritificial to me.

Bass guitar also sounds incredibly weak on the sats, even on bassy songs. Electric guitar also has no depth/volume, but as i mentioned before, the most disappointing factor is the lack of any soundstaging. With all the hype on these i guess i just expected much more and bought them without even giving them an audition. I'm considering selling them already even though i've only had them for like 3 days... =s

i know they're just 2.1 speakers, but then ppl've been comparing them with 5.1 setups all the time, and how they sound just as good, if not better. even with my 5.1 setup, the back 2 speakers aren't doing much when playing music, so only the centre and left right speakers are working hard...and even then, they can throw up much more believeable soundstage compared to the aego M.
