I realised you can't replace and will still need to acquire the basic to advanced domain knowledge in the area of your interest ... without the basic and/or advance knowledge, you may just shoot yourself in the foot by amplifying hidden mistakes later on ... AI just makes it faster but it should not replace the necessity of acquiring the knowledge ...

Talk until everyone can program with AI but if you totally dunno programming, whatever code that comes out, you also dunno what is happening. If it is wrong, tell you to debug also dunno where to.

Next time no one can understand whatever AI has coded cos all humans do not have even the basic working experience to know what is right or wrong.

this is correct and I agree ... this is especially true to those who think Vibe Coding can really replace a well-trained programmer or software developer ... we should all go back to the basic after all the hyping of what AI can replace us of ... :)

Saw some mentions, think the current AI is a more efficient machine good at processing repetitive known knowledge. Not create new. Not a replacement for real intelligence.

Its just like those old game programming. Loop few functions together, the game character can do repetitive tasks base on input response, and to many outside of it think its intelliegnce liao. But in reality there isn't much intelligence in that. Just some repetitive functions and feedback.

Machine will always be machine. Garbage in garbage out. The person programming and using it need to know what is what on the subject matter.

Think current AI is like the advanced version of the old expert system with larger data base, more efficient processing and better input and output interface.

But it will make mistake still if don't train to know what is right and wrong. Human also can make that mistake when don't know much about anything, don't say machine.

AI is such a wonderful tool. Last time used to struggle with a task for hours. Now with AI everything done in 15 mins. My productivity improved. Dont mind paying $30 per month for increased productivity

The talk has never been about an outsider using AI to bluff his way through.

It’s about AI making things easier for an insider.

yah so now all those software, you dunno if they go and use AI to code, Sekali have vulnerabilities inside and the programmers also dunno. Waiting to get hacked 😢

Isn't that the intention ?
The system already devised the 10 years series model answer for you.
Whether it is right or wrong, without the actual past experience and knowledge, you will just execute blindly.
Just like Google search.
Is it neutral ?
