Read a lot of good reviews about Aftershock PC
and being a SG brand, I wanted to support.
Online sales chat staff were good. Even answered chats on Sunday evening.
Online website PC configurator did state some items that are on pre order so I didn't choose those options.
Before ordering, asked the online sales chat people and they said estimated delivery is 2 to 3 weeks. Feels long but its ** period anyway.
Placed order, and paid fully via internet banking.
Everything so far very responsive via emails and sales chat on website.
Then I get an email saying that my delivery may take 5 to 6 weeks.
Usually they can deliver earlier but if any further ** measures happen, they may need longer.
Uh-oh. On web sales chat, told me 2 to 3 weeks.
Well its not a bait and switch, but perhaps just an expectation management email. They did say maybe only.
So I replied and said noted but hope can get in 2 or 3 weeks as told by sales chat staff.
Then I get another email to tell me my motherboard I chose is not available and they don't know when it is in stock.
WAH.
So they are selling items online with no stock and never mention to buyer until you buy and pay money.
They could have seen my initial web order (payment not processed yet) and tell me stocks not available.
But NO.
Did not mention on website about no stocks,
Did not mention on email to request for bank payments that there is no stock.
Only after paying, then say no stock and dunno when it will come.
Offered me a cheaper board with refund, or a more expensive board to top up.
I don't even want the other more expensive board as it doesn't have the features I want.
Emailed back my displeasure.
No response.
Call phone, Line is busy and they will cut you off after a few minutes.
Website chat now seem so cold when I request what is happening.
Just want to share experience so that other buyers know that not all things are in stock.
