Ahsoka never got to finish her training, shes technically still a Padawan by the end of the Clone Wars

Baylan as u mentioned has alot more experience, been already a full fledged Knight and General during the Clone Wars. Enough for even Thawn to recognise his name (and Thawn has little patience for the weak)

This fight scene was very good .

Very original too with the equivalent of a Greatsword which requires a 2 handed grip.
Same as when the 2 bladed sword was first introduced with Darth Maul.
Nobody had ever seen such a novel lightsaber onscreen before .

Baylan is like a Giant just like The Mountain in Game of Thrones.
He knew how to capitalise on his own immense physical strength enhanced by his Force abilities and wisely chose the use of a Greatsword.

That’s why Ahsoka was no match for him.

I find Ahsoka needs to use her force abilities to enhance her prediction ability to foresee Baylan’s next two or three moves in the future and use the force to enhance her speed and agility to evade and dodge Baylan heavy strikes and wear him down with small incursions at vulnerable areas such as knee, armpit, ankle, similar to the Viper taking down the Mountain with a spear of sunspear.

Alternatively Ahsoka can use the force to choke Baylan at a safe distance and suffocate him to death or use force lightning to electrocute him to paralyze at a safe distance.

You should see the scene where Imperial Grand Admiral Thrawn was revealed with the stormtroopers, he is smart and tactical to send two squads to fight the rebels while reserving the bulk of his forces to load the cargo from the great mothers.

Or how he sent 2 TIE fighters to attack the rebels and was chill when both got destroyed without 100% confirmation the mission was a success.

I was also wondering how come cargo loading and attaching the hyperspace ring cannot be done concurrently. The star destroyer was just holding position anyway.

So far lightsaber fights evolved from precision swings in original, to fast dexterous swirling in prequel, to powerful thrashiing in sequel, now is push and pull/ebb and flow like Donnie Yen Ip Man fighting in Ahsoka.

The Ashoka actress lacks dexterity in both hands. So although she is dual wielding, most of the time she is only attacking or defending with 1 lightsabre unless swinging in the same direction. The other lightsabre is just there to look cool.
