I'm a coder myself. I'm not sure how realistic this is. It looks very nice on the surface but when issues comes up, you don't even know where to start to rectify. I'm also very sure after comparing, the efficiency of my code is way better than the AI's version.

AI coding replacing human is inevitable but I just find end of 2026 a little too fast, end of 2027 or 2028 makes more sense. I see current period as roll out, testing and perfection phase.
Rolling out AI and retrenchment now is also a strategy to put pressure to increase productivity with lesser human resource.

for non-critical functionality, yeah. But currently quality of code isn't something that can simply be deployed into critical areas without human checks.

By end of 2026, doubt it will be capable of replacing even 50% of experienced coders. 99% of fresh grads maybe
