Try to ask if your aircon installer is using 16mm drainage. Because in the past their standard is 12mm. Resulting in choke. This is an important aspect

You still didnt share anything or state anything hahahah
don't force him ba. he maybe got his own reason. :)

hijack a bit.

Can share the contact too?
Looking for aircon next... thank thanks...
if that guy didn't pm u, u can take this as reference.

hwz mostly go for
1. gaincity
2. letscoolaircon
their installation lead time roughly 2~4 weeks...if find others, can install within 1 week time.

Another way is going for social media or google reviews to find good aircon company.

When choosing company, we look at
1. workmanship
2. hidden fees
3. after sales services

if u looking for daikin aircon, shopee system 3 gaincity $26xx+ during 12.12 event.

if i found good ones, i will share again. :D

He just dropby last Friday to install. Everything so far so good. Payment was easy, via paynow. And he even show me the materials while installing.

Amaflex 1/2 inch thick, class O
Keystone electrical cable
16mm copper pipe for drainage etc

The customer service sounds pretty good too

Heya, any comments on Gree? recently see a shop company advertising for Gree. I understand they have been a long established aircon manufacturing company in china, should be longer than Midea. any idea on this?

As far as I have done my research, the branded models we see carried overseas and in Sg are actually different.

For instance Aircon Brand A is popular in China / Philippines / US / UK. That model might be a 1 fan coil to 1 compressor system. So for a system 3, you can have 3 separate compressors providing unparallel coldness and performance.

Over here under the same brand A, due to regulations, we are only allow to use multisplit system. Hence system 3 is made up of 3 Fancoils to 1 compressor.

Performance will be different. And 1 engine serving 3 Fancoils, higher wear and tear plus choking tendency, you will really need to manage these expectations.

Hi minmin. You are most understanding. Relax sis. They Haven't install the fan coil yet as Im doing a full renovation for my place. New carpentry, new flooring, etc. Hence piping is up but fancoil not yet. Once it's installed and performing, I will be able to give a better overall evaluation.

Won't that be better?

Regarding the system 3 Daikin you share the link, my 2 cents would be, if you are OK with older models, they are fine. Cause so far Q and T series, both are having some complaints

i not angry cause i see a lot of diff kinds of people....kind of numb.

yes, u got ur own reasons......i understand from my pov

u gave high praising for that contractor before completion, i believe some would have already pm-ed u. the best way is to confront the question...not dodging the qns as people may misread ur intention. my 2 cents.

Can anyone recommend a truthworthy and good aircon installer?

gc with extended warranty

You considered which model you want yet?
Honestly speaking, Panasonic aircon so far quite good. Cold is really very cold. My experience with it is the pcb spoilt once. But I was using gain City w extended warranty previously. So foc repair. But other than that, no complaints

Suggest you consider which model first.

Online indicators quite positive.....

-very hard to fake google reviews....
-hardly any complaints on hwz....
-price is very average on the market...not high or low...

but waiting time is long....

tcl

if u not on rental/budget etc, aircon system 1 ($700~$1000) will be recommended. They are able to cool the whole room and quieter......

Is more to staying at relative place. Don't wish to drill here and there and have new piping etc. Will look at tcl thanks!
