I'm getting my unit, BTO 5rm this month and looking at Mitsubishi system 4 starmex. Gain city offer me MXY4A28VA with 1 x 18k BTU and 3 x 10k BTU units at 3910

All Best offer MXY4A28VA with 1 x 22k BTU (Free upgrade from 18k) and 3 x 10k BTU at 3699 (with 5 years workmanship warrenty)

Obviously All best is giving me the best deal. However I need to check with you guys on All Best review on their aircon services.

To raccon82,

Gain City price seems reasonable.
The other price u mentioned seems too good to be true.

Hi there,

Can advise is $5600 a reasonable quote for:

Mitsubishi system 2 inverter
MXY3a28va~1xMSYGE13VA~1xMSYGE26VA

Mitsubishi system 2 inverter
MXY2E20VA~2xMSYGE10VA

With fully new install & supply conceal piping for condo.

Appreciate your urgent reply.

Many thanks!

Thanks Terumo, you mentioned that the above amount is reasonable.

On another note, may I also ask:

1) is the above system combination better than a System 4?

2) Saw some quote on this forum
.eg. “Mitsubishi Electric” multi split inverter aircon $2,980.00 M/N: MXY3A28/MSYGE10 x 3
. ME Starmex System 4 - $4119 nett with Bracket

Is question no. 2 quotes comparable to mine? Or a total different stuffs?

I am overall installing for:

1) 2 units x 900 btu for two bed rooms
2) 1 unit x 1200 btu for MBR
3) 1 unit x 24 for living room.

Appreciate your advice.

Thanks again.

To funnyclown,
1. This setup is better as the compressor is sized accordingly to the indoor units.
2. The price u r comparing should be for HDB. So its not applicable for ur house.
For marketing, they usually use HDB prices to attract customers. U have to call them & check for further details.

To Wolfaro,
The $2750 should be for Daikin R22 model which according to my contact, this model is out of production already.
They should be clearing stocks, thus the low prices.

Just sharing, why not consider this new jap brand "KIMURA"?? I just got my old Daikin replaced with this brand after much consideration and assurance. They are now having promotion for system 3 at S$ 2299 and inverter R410A. Indoor fan coil also comes with build in air cleaner and save me another few hundred dollars from getting an air cleaner for my son who had aspiratory issue. Best part is now all my 3 bed rooms comes with air cleaner liao. So far so good for the unit and at least it doesn't wake me up in the mid-night like my old unit always did.

I am just sharing. Not promoting this brand by the way.

Any Recommendation on Brand

I am planning to buy new Aircon system for my HDB float (3 Bedrooms). Which brand is best? The Gain city Recommended to go For Fujitsu (DC invertor). Some of my friends suggesting Daikin/ Mitsubishi / Toshiba. Confused which one to buy. Can any one suggest which is more reliable and good brand.

Thanks.

To leonaheidern,

This pricing u mentioned is using back existing piping?
If its so, then quite reasonable.

Went to GC warehouse at AMK last week and saw Mit Starmex Sys 3 inverter on sale for S$2,999 with standard installation. So, I juz ordered a set with upgraded aircon unit for MBR (12k btu extra $50), 1/2 armflex & copper piping (extra $180). Standard 1 year warranty. The total damage was S$3,229

The salesman told me that GC will refund me the difference if their in-house retail price is lower before installation next week.

Any bro got cheaper than me at GC in the last 2 weeks? If yes, kindly let me know & I will XXXX GC.

Thanks.

To Wolfaro,

Why dont u consider Mit Electric?

For that price range seriously i will take Daikin anytime..

Happy user of Fujitsu for last 5 yrs + , will take Fujitsu over Mit Electric anytime (My current unit haven't been service at all in last 5 yrs lol)

Anyway i opted for Daikin this time.. Piping installation Next Saturday.
