Not quite sure, most of my friends using Daikin & Mitsubishi Electric.

i second this. i've met 2 aircon technicians and 3 friends of mine who chose either of the above 2. All mentioned same thing: Reliable.

is Creation Aircon in facebook ok? Any review

Hi all
My LG system3 aircon just ended his life....

I plan to replace with either Daikin or Panasonic, System 4 or System 3+1
Any recommendation?

1) So far got a quote from Creation Aircon at Jalan Tenteram (saw their advertisement in FB). Are they reliable?

Quote Daikin System 4:
Outdoor = INVERTER 4MKS80FSG
Indoor = (9000 BTU) × 3 bedroom, (18000 BTU) x 1 living hall
SGD 3799 (include installation on existing AC ledge, and delivery).

Quote Panasonic Econavi System 4:
Outdoor = CU-4S27NKZ
Indoor = (9000 BTU) × 3 bedroom, (18000 BTU) x 1 living hall
SGD 3499 (include installation on existing AC ledge, and delivery).

2) Do you guys think i should install System 3 + 1 instead? Or System 2+2?

3) My existing LG system 3 are concealed piping... so those Upgraded materials (1/2 inch insulation, SWG22 piping...etc), do i still need it? Because i don't want to hack any wall....

Sorry i'm very newbie in this....!

The pricing are quite cheap, best to check on the materials used & any terms & conditions & GST inclusive.

Don't get into hidden cost disputes later on.

check whether your swg22 piping can still be used anot.. Also whether those prices include all materials needed? (in case your pipes need to be replaced..but unlikely if swg22.. those gauge 22 copper pipes are tough ones)..

1) Mitsubishi Electric is the most popular follow by Daikin.
2) 2 different company so totally different design. ME is much more popular than MHI.
3) 2 ticks for reliability. The higher ticks one seem to have more issues so I rather get the tried and tested one.

I got Mitsubishi electric starmex 2 ticks system. Work very well for me.

Hi

I am interested in getting MHI system 4 air con. I calculated my floor area as follows:

4 room bto
Bedroom 1 & 2 ~10m3
Master Bedroom ~ 16.7 m3
Living room ~29.5 m2

Can the gurus help to advise which MHI outdoor/indoor units to select for optimal cooling & efficiency? I am in dilemma which model to choose, need some advice…

For MHI,
I think all 9k auto upgrade to 12k which is more then sufficient for bedrooms.
Living 18k will be nice.

I engage this company known as cold engine, decent workmanship. They can do 1 or 2 trips installation, just need to add $50 for 2 trips.

I took mitsubishi starmex 2 ticks system, upgraded to 1/2 inch insulation, SWG22 copper pipes etc. $3850 + $50 for 2nd trip.
9k BTU x 2 common bedrooms
13k BTU master bedroom
24k BTU Living room

Hi Terumo bro
my living room is 29.5 m2. 18K BTU not enough???

And Yes you are right, Gain city tell me no more MHI 9K BTU fancoil. Give 12K BTU fancoil for all 3 bedrooms.

I went gain city yesterday.

MHI system 4:
Option 1: SCM80ZJ – SRK60ZJ / SRK35ZJ x 3 - $4189
Option 2: SCM80ZJ – SRK71ZJ / SRK35ZJ x 3 - $4239

Price difference not much, so no need to compare the cost. And they give me a better fan coil for my living room. Does that mean it is a no brainer to choose the second option?

4rm BTO.

Compressor is 2.8K BTU, the model number already can tell. Got 3.8K BTU compressor which I didn't take because there is zero chance of me using all the units at once.

5 ticks one is not as reliable, you can search for reviews online. Complaints of excessive noise etc is common. Moreover the power savings came at the expense of power reduction.

Living room, 18k is enough.

For $50 more, take the 71.

Sorry, this might sound silly, but ME starmex 24K BTU indoor unit is referring to MSY-GE24VA or 26VA? Cos brocedure put 24VA is 6kW and 26VA is 7.1kW, after convert, GE24VA is not 24K BTU?
