Indoor Coil Thermistor defect or most likely fan motor kaput.

You try to count from stopping at 2.5secs then blinking continue how many times before stop again.

Thanks

As mention, the problem starts when the main (switch) power is turn on (power for all the air-con units). I have turn off and on the main power to let you guys know. I do need a good and cheap recommendation for repairs as I called mitsubishi electric themself on repairing the air-con and they claim 50% chance it might have to do with the wiring as the light blinks when the main power for all the air-con unit is turn on and they dont do wiring repairs.

I know its nothing to do with the thermostat as it was changed 2 months ago (cannot be so suay break down again).

Wiring usually is totally no power at all.

The blinking light is diagnosed sign.
you can self monitor the blinking light :
11 times and stop = Fan motor to be replace.
12 times and stop = PCB need to replace.

But both together needed to be replace, on each parts spoil will be related on both.

Thanks I just called your friend up and he also say might be wiring burned seems to be there is 2 kinds of burn, one is damage burn, the other is burn until no power I think might is the first kind.

Anyway if you were extended warranty they have record in data, or you might keep your receipt.

Anyone have experience with York Aircon?

Price are slightly cheaper than Starmex + its more efficient in power.

$500-700 as compared to $800-$1000 annual consumption ($).

York in sg model is OEM from China made, no related to York M'sia model.

So the price will be slighly lower.
But the maintenace wise will be difficult than Starmex design as easy clean.

Hi today got some tips for sharing with yours

For new Aircons installed and make sure ask the installer do not used silicon sealed along the FCU in between wall gap.

To avoid next time chemical wash have to dismantle down the indoor unit as well.

So the time can be faster than used more time to cut off the silicon before to dismantle down.

The pic is showing without silicon sealed.

Thot the contractors will be prudent enough to not put silicone at the aircon?

Just a wires condition make sure you check from them is pure copper.

Otherwise get burn later will be trouble for remove out trucking.

Also pvc drain pipe at least comes with 16mm Dia. also use armaflex insulation if possible to prevent condensation

New models VRV type they has already for 1:4, 1:5 & 1:6
But not suitable for HDB flat

The latest smaller units will be coming soon, just the BTU slighly lower than current model.
