Hmm... Fans at the side will create a turbulence in the airflow. Which will worsen your temperature.
You using 38mm delta fans in your case? Even with GT's in there I dont think they move enough air to cause what you call "turbulence", which is probably noise from the moving air.
There is no laminar air flow in a computer case, only turbulent. At least bother to understand the terms you're using before using them.

Precisely. The only reason I said that was because I was once in TS's position. Owned a P410...with additional aftermarket fan controller. Even made a thread asking around about the "best airflow config" for the P410. Well guess what?
Eventually one would reach the realisation that excellent temps are wholly subjected to SG's prevailing weather conditions (or whether the A/C is on if you're elite).
Each to their own, and I won't blame anyone for hunting down the last 0.5 degree in their CPU/GPU/HDD/SDD/PSU/chassis. Just one day, you'd find it silly and won't be bothered anymore.
I think the whole Singapore climate thing is getting blown more and more out of proportions with each discussion about airflow and temps. My house is at a no-breeze part of Tampines and the hottest it ever gets around here is about 30°C max, indoors temp not outdoors.
Plus pretty much most of the decent fans/heatsinks/case/etc on the market right now all have more than enough cooling capacity for a healthy delta t temp even with an ambient temp of 30°C. My 3 hitachi 3TB's runs at 50°C when alone, but with just some light breeze from a ~1400RPM fan running at lowest speed they run at 39-40°C.
