Probably because of performance. For their ver 2, they claim 388 on turbo but no evidence one. They only say can try to achieve it by using the high fan speed via the app but no cert to certify. Notice their advertisement alot of small info of numbers, then when you read at the last part they will list it all out. Since xiaomi got alot of investors, they need to churn out more $$$ faster now. No longer as ethical in their vision that they use to be. Most evident in Redmi Note 2 advertising, they release adverts claiming samsung screen parts but thereafter product come out all domestic screen. They got into trouble domestically because of that now all their adverts filled with mini conditions one. Look out for * or the small numberings.

Hi starkarat, don't mind asking the Doctor your son went to, is a specialist doctor? Or just any normal clinic doctor? The type of cream and herbal tea bath your son using?

Because so far, i have brought my son to various doctor also doesn't seem to help, all they gives is steroid cream and even to KK Children Eczema Department at Level 5, also the same, give steroid cream...haiz....

I did bought the Crocodile Oil from Chop Wah On, after using awhile on my son, doesn't seem to improve his eczema condition and my wife don't like it because is very oily. After that read reviews on Robertson's Ointment on facebook, bought one to try and seem getting worse so we stop and apply steroid instead. Ask the the manufacturer and was told that it will go into a phase of looking very bad, and then slowly recover. I have bought quite a number of things from Taobao and ship through sea freight...but time spent on liaising with sea freight forwarder is quite time consuming because other then monitor the Taobao System on the items reached, i have to compile a list of tracking numbers i have bought and send it to them to tally, after that, i will have to fill-in a form to list out the items bought and the price, then send to them, then another few other tasks too.

But if through Air Freight by Taobao Forwarder Agent, is far more easy because i only need to monitor the Taobao System whether my items reach or not, then once everything reached, they will compile the weight and show the price to pay, after that just click pay and bring you to payment mode...that it....just that the price is higher and bulky items, best go for Sea Frieght to save cost....

Another thing is when came to electrical items, i have to see whether the price saving worth it or not because if spoil, i will not going to send back to China for repair as shipping is killing...but so far, help a friend bought 2x 49" and 1x 55" Xiaomi TV, still going strong after about 6months but my Midea vacuum cleaner after using few months, the suction out of sudden can't even suck up "a red bean"....

Hi, the doctor gave desonide and hyrocortisone (steroid) cream. I don't know what type of tea leaves he gave. Something anti-fungal and anti-bacterial. The doctor is a dermatologist, recommended by my relatives - skin problems run in the family. I'll PM you his details.

And seems like it's alot of hassle to buy the AP from taobao. I'll buy the Sharp from BD tonight. Hope there's stock.

Starkarat, get the A50. There is no need to get the Sharp D40/D60.

Sharp 3rd party filters are available on Taobao, just an additional avenue for you to get your stuff.

Get something that has lots of extra horsepower on tap, so that next time getting 3rd party filters is not a problem (coz for the same filter area size and depth , the airflow drops 30-40% and cleanning ability another 5% or so). But at 5X cheaper, it matters a lot in the long run.

PS. That is why you see that some of us here upgrade the filter depth. Eg A40 filter is 31mm thick. But i spec 45mm thick as customised from the sellers. Cost just rise from rmb67 to rmb95. I bought in bulk of 4pcs, became 85rmb.

It should be correct ba....esp when they play with words like 美国AHAM/CADR and 中国GB18801.

This is what the version 1 got in a Shenzhen lab in a GB18801 std test.

But if anyone is wondering, 31W is the spec for 330 m3/hr and it's 54W for the 388m3/hr jet mode, from what I saw on a site measuring it.

If that is the case, in terms of power efficiency not very far apart from the ver 1 right? Since ppl will just turn turbo on for 10mins then use normal or medium settings all the way?

That's a somewhat significant improvement.
I will need to hear how it does in terms of noise...will be able to do so soon.

Additionally, it's 21cm shorter and 2cm smaller for W and L.

The steroid cream are the same with what my son currently using.....think is quite standard for use on eczema...as we went to KK that time, the doctor open up a file full of different creams and was told have to try out till the one that suit my son....so far has yet found it....

Received your pm, will bring him to see the doctor and give a try on the herbal tea bath formula....hope it helps...
