Thanks for the prompt reply!

Using Samsung AX40 from 2015 and Philips AC4025. Thinking of adding Mi Air Purifer 2S.

If got 3 rooms to AP, then get the 2S lor. It's an ok performer, easy to get filters also;.

Your AX40 and Philips, just get the generic HEPAs from Taobao can liao, from what i posted earlier. SGD 5-6 per piece, then factor $2 or so per pc for shipping, use Cainiao official fwd can liao. 3rd party liable to kena half volumetric.

But you see first, buy 1-2 pcs and see if Cainiao will charge vol or not. But i do not reckon so.

Can i ask if you usually turn on the ionizer on the AX40? Usually when are we required to on that?

Hi,

What's the main difference between the Pro and 3?

Looking to purchase one. :)

3 suppose to be newer gen and more efficient. But in terms of absolute CADR, Pro still higher.

Personally, if living room will use Pro. Bedroom will use 2s or 3, see which one cheaper.

No need to worry too much abt the absolute figures. As long as there is decent airflow coming from the top, for typical HDB BTO bedrooms, that's sufficient. The room should not be totally airtight (eg the door gap shd have a wee bit of ventilation going on, you definitely will feel it if there is AC cold air), nor shd there be a lot of ventilation going on (eg too much cold air blasting out from the door gap). You'd need to manage the cross-ventilation aspect by closing the windows or leaving a 5-15mm gap depending on the wind speed experienced at your home.

Cannot be "air-tight" one, CO2 build up will be even more jialuck than haze, you will kena headaches in the morning.

So hard to maintain this. My living room quite stuffy now thou. Don't dare to open the window as I have a baby in the hse.

lol....since 6pm till now, minihelpers sold 50+ purifiers....:s22:

Air quality took a sharp turn for the worse on Saturday (Sept 14), with the PSI reading crossing the unhealthy level for the first time in three years.

The 24-hour PSI readings ranged between 94 and 112 at 9pm, with the highest recorded reading in western Singapore.
