Which sharp model is using true hepa?

I don need any humidifier or ion function

True HEPA usually is rated at 99.7% can remove pollutants from the air.

But then again, brands have been known to stretch the true specs so best is to check with the feedback of buyers at amazon or other online sales website.

I think all Sharp models are using True HEPA.

No lah...the A28 and Z31 model not using HEPA-13. Using E10 (take it as "HEPA-10 if you will"), 85% efficiency @ 0.3 micros.

Doesn't mean much also, just that the clean air delivery/airflow setting specs 85% nia (relative to true HEPA at 99.97%).

E10 and HEPA13 (True HEPA) will handle haze particles filtration, no issue. (don't bring in those tech discussions about some haze particles going down to 0.1 microns and even below that)

Take PM2.5 that they are measuring for example, that'd be 2.5 microns. E10 probably handles that at very very close to 100% efficiency.

In real life, very little difference between E10 and HEPA-13 for home use esp with regards to Haze. To clean the air in a room, recommend gunning it on HIGH speed for 10-15 mins first. That'd make a signficant diff. After that can be med or low or whatever....due to noise preference whatever.

BTW, the current situation really doesn't need you to use a HEPA air purifier or whatever. Unless if you've got allergic rhinitis, asthma, preggie/infants....elderly...etc.

But 3 weeks from now when the inter-monsoon season starts...really don't know.
