Don't need. It can run on 220V. Euro 2-pin plug. Using one now.

No transformer required . But u will need a travel adaptor.

My brand new AX40 seems to have more airflow than the 2 months old one, everything being identical other than the age of the machine and the age of the HEPA filter (but the age of the filter not supposed to matter much mah, right?). Psychological?

HEPA gets clogged and the airflow WILL drop. The efficiency doesn't.

Actually efficiency increases as the filter medium cakes up with a layer of particles.
