i use a duck feather comforter, lots of tiny feathers end up stuck on the pre-filter

It's just a rough recommendation. Like your aircon, just do a visual check now and then, can wash whenever enough dust has accumulated. If your place very dusty maybe 1 week also enough

For the mesh pre-filter, just spray water jet to clean them. Don't dust them off, else they will end up scattered into the air.

I have received my samsung air purifier ax40 from goni.

Very very bad packaging.
I got the one with the free filter, and the idiot squeeze the filter into the purifier box.
End up the filter is dented at the top, and the plastic covering (clear) is so thin, that it torn during shipment.

I do not even know if this filter is authentic or not!

The only thing i wish foobot could do is using laser instead of light scattering. It really isn't that much more expensive. some taobao sellers combine all the parts together (VOC + pm2.5) also doesn't reach 200 USD.

At such price without particle count down to 0.3 is quite a let down. The only thing I see useful is the history and graph logging, which I have yet to find any seller doing it easily.

IMO, the perfect AQM must have
-laser
-particle count
-VOC,CO2
-software logging

Actually I wonder if the choice has to do with laser having a shorter lifespan than a light scattering device.

Hi all
I currently looking forward to get an air purifier
Not much to request but with HEPA filter ( i think this is the most important filter to have) and that can instantly remove cigarette smoke (owner smoking lo)
So far what i been recommended by sales person was the EuropAce EPU 370C and i personally quite interested on xiaomi ap. Any suggestion or review on both ap ? Manay thanks
