bro............tis 1.............put aircon................aircon wil die or nt har??????????????????????

Go buy those aircon foam cleaner (presurrized can) and clean the metal fins and blower. If you have Panasonic oral irrigator, use it to spray the metal fins. Wipe the blower fan with cloth and paint brush.

Do this every 3 months. Fan speed switch on HIGH.

2 layers of 3M filterete also won't die, much less this one. I assure you.

The above method easily cleans the aircon FCU till cleaner than a normal $40-50 water wash by the air-con servicing guy.

I use this. Got from Self-fix. Very effective. Got another version from Mckinney.

BTW, think I have not mentioned this before and it just hit me.... a good HEPA purifier also helps the aircon FCU to be very clean. Can just DIY clean the FCU.

We operate the air-con some 12-14hrs a day, only cleaned by the technician 6 months after purchase. So it has not been cleaned by the technician for 4.5 years already.

Of course I DIY clean after that. But that's aided by the air purifier.

Air output is full blast, same as day one. I know coz I have another aircon FCU in another room that we have not clocked more than 200 hrs on it.

Air con cleaning cost I have already saved some $700-800 already. If add chemical wash every 1 year, that's $1000.

The HEPA filters out all the small junk and prevents this from coating the metal fins. I don't know, something like that.

Most times i chk...the duck and thermwell foam is at 0.97.

The foam from the Jackie foam aircon cleaner would naturally disappear totally after 10 mins. Wont drip.
For me, i'd also clean the evaporator fins with my Panasonic
Oral irrigator after that.

If it evaporates off, where does all the dust and dirt goes to?

How much per bottle? Can use for how many times? Does it smell after using?

My guess is that it dislodges dirt and slime on the fins esp those deep in. Vacuuming the front surface doesnt help much. So after that the dirt would go down the drainage pipe.

For me i flush with water....coz got oral irrigator. Wont spoil....done that for 1 year.

I suppose if your FCU is like 2yr never wash (thats a big mistake by itself already) and the output is like v much lowered....its good to do a chemical wash first and then see if the drainage need to be cleared with a wet vacuum cleaner by them furst.

The smellbis typical hair shampoo smell....that baby johnson baby shampoo smell. Not offensive. It stays for 2 days at most.

Each bot is 12 dollars. I used quite a lot for my FCU and used about half. So 6 dollars per FCU....i suppose can push to 3 FCUs per can.

From Selffix. you can try Homefix if that's more convenient in your neighbourhood.

I reckon ABC value shops may have also, who knows?

I am using the Panasonic oral irrigator that's quite the discussion in the thread "Amazon provides freeshipping part 1 2 and 3". It pumps water out of the nozzle at 90 PSI, close to 3X the pressure of your tap outlet which is typically 30+ PSI.

But the overall volume of water is very low. So won't really drip.

In essesnce, that'd be even more effective. No need for the bag, just 2 wash cloths below the FCU is fine. Drip a bit only, the drainage can handle.

90 PSI + low vol of water, won't bend the evaparator fins but will blast away the biofilm. That's what i am talking about.

Coupled with the air purifier, BAGUS combo!
