Hi there, can anyone recommend a good affordable dehumidifier + air purifier combo unit for a single hdb-sized room? Thanks!

heh heh...think most of us do not have experience with dehumidifiers + air purifier combo.

Yeah, i got mine from daiso of qoo10.sg too. Waiting for delivery. I got mine when they having time sales at 244.90, then plus extra filter at $78, plus $15 shipping, and use $5 shop coupons, in the end pay $332.90 for the unit.

now they plugged the bug, cannot apply $5 shop coupon anymore ;)

The Midea KJ30FE hor......got it yesterday afternoon and tested.

Loud leh...... Low speed is very low noise, but low airflow that's not useful.

Medium is good airflow, but already nosier than the AX40. What I did is to use 3M scotchtape and tape up the 4 rightmost exhaust vane holes. Cuts down about 1-2 dB, becomes morel manageable but still not suitable for light sleepers.

High and Turbo quite power. CADR tested is 319 m3/hr. Airflow might be 360-380 m3/hr? (coz the HEPA is H11-H12 thereabouts)


Original filter on Tabao is RMB99. 448mm x 290mm x 30mm HEPA portion.

For the midea, the uncle got 3 sets to sell at S$100, delivery inclusive. He said within 30 mins snap up. I messaged at the 13th minute he put up the carousell post. 17th minute deal. 1hr later at my doorstep, literally. :D


For the price, good for hazy days to whack the PM2.5 down, fast. But unsuitable for bedroom and daily use. (noise and electrical consumption)
Got timer also. 1hr, 2,4,8. So that's cool, 1hr is useful.

Midea in second lowest speed.

Tested outlet rightmost 4 vane holes taped up (reduce noise).

16 x 8.5cm area.

1st gear - CMI

2nd gear - Calculated to be approx. 260 m3/hr airflow.

3rd gear, about 310m3/hr

Highest speed 4th gear, correct, shd be about 350m3/hr airflow.

Waiting for mine too. Bought on 6 Sept. Arrived Singapore on 11th Sept night. Public holiday + Weekend, means perhaps Monday or Tuesday delivery..
