I saw it yesterday...I saw a lot of L size...Honestly, I prefer the M size as I just need it to cover my mouth and nose...

I also have air+ size M, just barely covers my nose and mouth. Very little spare space inside to breathe. The box measured me to size M

Any reason why the air inlet is designed at the rear of the unit?
My personal opinion is that air should go in from the front and out from the top.

I was deciding on APs and the inlet was one of the main factors. Those that sucks air through the rear panel has a larger area in which the air is being sucked than those that do so from the sides of the front panel. Imo the front panel ones are not as efficient since some of the suction is acting on the front panel. Just my theory.

Seems like it's designed to be like a surgical mask which is in contact with your face.

WRX, thank you very much for your test. If by any chance, do you have duck filters from amazon, is okay for you to do AC + (amazon) duck filter test?

Yes, I have 2pcs of those PU foam filter that I got at 96 cents. But no need to test, no appreciable difference.

Thanks! I went around looking for L size, but all OOS. Wonder when will they re-stock. Thinking of getting the ventilator as well.

Got stock what...

It restocked on Friday, and then sold. Then Saturday huge stocks came at 100AM Guardian and Watsons, some 200 boxes. Also gone. Today came and see S and M (Orchard Gateway, 100AM), then also gone.

Well visually the M also looks super small in comparison to the rest of my face. I'm not sure how you're supposed to breath inside IF I'm meant to get M

Waiting on some L sized ones (if I can get my hands on them from the courier) to see the difference

But if you compare with some reputable brands such as Honeywell, Blueair or IQair they don't suck air from the rear. Correct me if I'm wrong.

My first AP was a Trion, bought in 1994. An electrostatic precipitator.

I would not recommend electrostatic precipitators. Very low CADR. You cannot blast air over it, it would not capture the PM.

Short and sweet.

PETALING JAYA (THE STAR/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - Malaysian Defence Minister Hishammuddin Hussein has fallen ill because of the haze, according to a post on this Twitter account.

"Jerebu masih teruk (Haze is still terrible) - I have already lost my voice and my nose is blocked," he tweeted on Sunday (Sept 27).

Datuk Seri Najib, who is currently in New York, said he was aware that some states have recorded unhealthy Air Pollutant Index (API).

"I understand that the haze situation in certain states in Malaysia is at an unhealthy level. Reduce outdoor activities, if needed, use face mask,"

Johor-sees-spike-in-respiratory related-illnesses

JOHOR BARU: The worsening haze has contributed to an increase in respiratory-related illnesses in the state with 19,655 cases recorded during the first two weeks of the month.

Johor Health and Environment Committee chairman Datuk Ayub Rahmat said there was also a marked spike in hospital admissions for respiratory ailments, from 28,768 in July to 30,118 in August.

“We believe that the hazy weather contributed to the increase as 19,655 cases were recorded within just 15 days this month,” he said.

Ayub said patients with respiratory illness were given priority for hospital admission because they were in the high-risk category.

so basically its relying on charged up air/ions to suck in dirty air towards the unit
the discharged air escapes the unit

thats how its creating airflow on its own without a fan?
