My Happy Mall AP shipped 1 Oct and arrived yesterday morning!

Not in any reference to tinydot, my opinion of the delivery speed from Happy Mall is reasonable considering it took about 3 business days. Of course my order date is 25 Sep but seller explicitly stated that shipment will only be made post 30 Sep due to holidays!

My Happy Mall AP order shipped on 30 Sep, arrived yesterday Monday afternoon leh.

now dont think pp selling used set. If u wan try on Dec maybe will have idiot pp offloading :s13:

If u read past 10 pages u will realise that Qoo10 or Rakuten monitoring time sale or discount coupon+ MasterCard Tuesday will net you a nice price.

More of less Seller is saying the G1 and G3 no different except G1 is 20 gram light. Also G1 have this "particle counter individual thingy" which I dont understand, Need sexpert to explain this portion. and when add to cart for G1 need to indicate this option. My chinese CMI but more or less shld be there lol :s22:

Yep, G1 you get this particle count by size output which the G3 does not. And seller is saying default they will not display unless you specify you want the particle counts displayed

no such thing as to no need to change the filter for 10 years, unless you don't switch on the AP. lol. Probably when it says the filter has a life span of 10 years meaning it won't disintegrate within 10 years.

So by default , does it only show all the PM count? That should be enough for us right? Do we need the particle counts?

Am not sure about such claim… Even the filters for vehicle, kitchen hood, etc need to be changed more frequently than 10 years…

I personally bought the AX40 as a second AP over and above the Honeywell I have. Primary reason is because of the price, supposed silent operating feature and availability of filter. I just came to know about Sharp’s AP with mosquito trap FP-FM40E-B which I would have considered over AX40 even though the pricing is more as I like the mosquito trap feature. I realized that as a result of the haze, the mosquitos are now seeking refuge indoor as well and as such, this machine will be useful for these 2 purposes!

we don't talk about AP first, have u look at the standing fan, or maybe ur cpu fan, after months/1yr of using without cleaning. that layer of dust.

u think ur hepa filter can do it for 10 years without changing?

my friend keep insisting that his 3x Sharp AP is 10 year filter no need to change. I ask him those dust or particles trap inside where it goes har? he said Sharp technology lei.....

this haze season I see alot of of my friend being ignorant lol from my colleague being immune , to 10 years filter no need change lol

I had another sharp model... the 10yrs is based on 5 cigarette a day...

the best way to decide when to change is to see for yourself whether the filter is black and dirty or not...

I had been using the sharp AP for 3 yrs now... only turn it on during haze... the filter light came up recently and i checked the manual... have to clean the humidifying filter and vacuum the deodorizing filter etc... and i check the hepa filter looked greyish but i think still can last another yr of haze before changing... and the filter light is suppose to come out in 720hours of usage to remind user to do some maintenance...

KC-D40 will prompt when to replace filter via the status lights. After approx 10 months it prompted me to change filter. BTW my place is near car park so i guess is quite dusty.
