Ordered online 2 days ago and the delivery is on 21st Feb.
Meanwhile I will ask the retail stores if stocks are in and cancel the online order if it is available in stores.
But I doubt so since I received similar responses from stores that stocks will be in end of the week or next week, but when I call subsequently, it is the same response again.

I managed to score a pair when I was in Taipei on Friday night. Even got a 5% discount on it so I'm pretty pleased! Last piece in the store too.
Its mostly out of stock too there and I had to visit 3 shops before I got lucky.
Lucky! Other countries can still see stocks at stores. Our country? Lol.

It will work with any app that plays sound/ music cos the sensor is controlled by hardware not software.

Apparently, it's out of stock everywhere
Likely Chinese New Year factory shutdown. Impossible so long no stock. One possibility is stocks are on their way via sea shipping?
The sensors is indeed hardware but it requires the software to be able to receive the 'pause' command from the AirPods and react accordingly.

Stocks pop up every now and then in places (you can see it shows what places had stocks in the last 24 hours). I been monitoring that site for a couple of days. There is re-stocking ongoing.

Agreed. Expensive portable electronics are never shipped by sea. Always air freight.

Very weird no stock globally
Not weird for a hot product. No stocks just means you can't get it immediately and all stocks are shipped to fulfil exisiting orders
