[New firmware] AK120 V1.37
SOURCE: IRIVER GLOBAL

[Newly added function]
1. Comfortable USB mode
: USB mode can be changed when the AK120 is connected to PC via USB cable.
USB DAC <-> Removable disk, Charge battery <-> USB DAC or Removable disk (Settings - USB mode)
2. Folder playback
: On the top of each folder, ''Play all'' key is added, which enables to play all songs and songs
in sub folders in the selected folder.
3. 32bit wav (stereo) file supported

[Improvement]
1. Enable to power off at charge & play mode – (Also applied for auto power off and sleep off)
2. Enable to choose home themes (Basic 1 type + Black, Silver and Redwine)
(Settings - Advanced - Home Screen Theme)
3. DSF files are shown in MQS menu.

guys wat so special about the ak120....if lets say im just gonna using wav and flac? im looking for a new player maybe to replace my current rig...

To me, AK120 does extremely well playing high res 24bit/96kHz and "DSD".

it is by far, my most favourite high res music player. however, i have yet to try HM901.

As mentioned, listened with my UM Miracle and PRO EQ turned on, as I have PRO EQ on through my listening on 1.32 as well.

Decided to revert back to 1.32 as I prefer the tonality at the expense of some `air'. Initially, I thought the 1.37 had more clarity/transparency, but after some critical listening, I realised I had mistaken the brightness as more clarity. :s13:

I think I saw ak120 successor on mook festival.
One of the AK guy used it to audition shure headphone.
Something like ak120 Titan color, relatively big screen, 4" maybe.
