actually is there a leeway on this? i recall long ago there was some incident whereby commuter need to take medicine with water. can't rmb if SMRT made an exception to this

Previously i posted a reply in another thread that drinking plain water and taking medicine people will close eye. But someone reply telling me don't anyhow spread nonsense and untruth. I hope one day that EDMWER forgot take medicine, i will sure report him and drag him out of the station to take his medicine.

If allowed then it makes job very difficult for our enforcers. And subsequently, nobody will give a hoot. Therefore, drinking what seem like plain water must also catch, onus is on the drinker to prove that it was absolutely necessary to drink in the mrt due to medical reasons.
