Think every human beings can tell that guy in video isn't your fragile elderly so no need to stir and gaslight.

If u not happy u go write in to SMRT, lawfirms, ministers and SPF to protect that PRC lor, no one care nor is stopping u from acting herotic keyboard warrior. Have some pride, if want be HERO own and prove that with actions.

HAVE some critical thinking like these users too:
that is taking medicine, this is balantly breaking the rules for filming purposes and how you know its plain water could be colorless sugar drink
He is challenging authority and law. Law can be merciful, but blatant challenge and making a mockery of the law should not be allowed. It shows disrespect for the country and citizens.
Some ppl just want to create content on social media for the attention. All of us know drinking plain water in MRT or bus is fine. But the reason why no drinking no eating rule is so that our trains, bus and stations are clean for all to use. Imagine spilling your sweet bubble tea or teh peng on the bus or MRT, the sticky sticky floor. Then ppl step on it, walk all over, spread the stickiness. Please have some civic mindness.

No, you cannot drink water on public buses in Singapore, as the consumption of all food and beverages, including plain water, is prohibited on buses and trains to maintain cleanliness and prevent spills and accidents. Violators can be fined for breaking these rules.

Can I eat and drink on the bus?

We strongly discourage eating and drinking on board our buses for the comfort of other passengers. We believe that it is the social responsibility of every passenger to keep our public buses clean.

Yesterday, I also saw an uncle drinking water and he was seated right under the "No Eating and Drinking" warning. I thought whether to call him out in the crowded train but decided to just let him drink.
