Am considering Invader PC. Anyone got experience?

Some background info. I have personal experience with DIY. But as I get older, I'm just too tired to assemble myself. Furthermore, I have no car, so to buy from SLS will be troublesome. If buy from Shopee/Lazada, will have to wait for all parts to arrive before assembling, and I don't want to sound whiny, but my work space at home is quite small and I can't leave a half built CPU hanging around.

Hence I'm considering one of the system integrators. I know what I want, and have done some research on what to avoid, and what parts to go for.

The parts that I really want are a 9800x3d and a RTX 5800, 64gb RAM hopefully 6000mhz and CL30. Need to be able to choose which PSU and SSD and cooling I want to use as I notice some companies tend to cheap out on these. Also prefer to be able to specify which casing I want to use, as I don't trust some of the OEM casing. Singapore is very hot and I often don't on aircon.

After some research, Invader PC seems to give me the best options for customisation and seem to have the parts I want.

Does anyone have any experience (both good and bad) with them? Their reputation ok? Do they cheap out on any parts like the casing fan for example?

Lol, I'm having the same thoughts. But the older school self in me says go down SLS and head to Dynacore and ask.

I'm usually a PC Themes guy. Been patronising them for I think 20 years already, when i was in sec school until now.

But I find nowadays quite a few problems with physical shops. Stocks seem very uncertain, often OOS, esp for GPU, and sometimes popular CPU like 9800x3d. Some shops like to do stunts, like pretend no stock, ask u buy more ex one, but suddenly can find one last unit when you are about to leave. I'm too old to play such games liao. And finally, its damn tiring and difficult to lug everything back home if you don't drive.

Been years since I went SLS shops to get my stuff. Still remembered by first PC from Superpet.
I got my current PC from pckaki during the COVID days.
I looked at Invader but some of their PC no mobo selection, probably due to mobo size. And their SSD, secondary SSD got drives the main one don't have.
Which was one of the reason why I would prefer to head down to Dynacore look look.
Maybe visit the show room?

I too got old and lazy for DIY now. Went with Invader bout 2 to 3 years ago and zero issues thus far.

I had abit of a requirement, eg still prefer using my sound card so you can actually get in touch with them and they'll help recommend accordingly. Had been a smooth ride for me during then.

DIY is no longer cheap anymore , even u wanna DIY it .

I don't like the motherboard , ram and SSD they given . But DIY is too damn ex nowadays

DIY is cheaper if you're patient and use sites like taobao and wait for prime day etc to get parts. But in general if no discounts etc, can't really beat Invaderoc and aftershock

I bought 9800 X3D with RTX 5080 prebuild from them 1 week ago recently received. The Asus prime 5080 quality seem like not so good sometimes got clicking noise when gaming. Now liasing with them to resolve

Sound like fan hitting something. Have you check if they remove all plastic?

That's loud. I can't hear my GPU at all unless I manually crank the fan speed way up.

Happen under full load?

G.Skill DDR5 is overpriced. You can get good DDR5-6000 CL30 or even CL28 at a more reasonable price from TeamGroup, Klevv, Kingbank etc
