Am considering Invader PC. Anyone got experience?

It sounds like coil whine to me, when I compare to the sound of coil whine on YouTube. According to Google, coil whine won't spoil the card, but it is grounds for RMA.

Let me know what Invader says. I worry I order liao, they give me your card!

I'm still on the fence. Very heart pain to pay lump sum so much money. Doesn't feel right to splurge on myself like that... But I been thinking since last year liao.

I'm prepared put in the most 3.3k. My current one is 2.7k built during COVID. Thought after COVID gpu prices would stablise, end up got worse.

So far waiting their reply on whatsapp. shows blue tick at the moment

The sample build that I try out on their website shows 4.1k. Cheaper than if I assemble outside. But the prices still really crazy la.

My current one was around 2.2-2.5k (2070 super), also build just before COVID started, early 2020. Was DIY back then, but was so rusty I took 5 hours to do. I remmeber after that felt a bit nausea.

Surprised it could last that long. DLSS is really helpful. Now 5 years older liao, not sure if I have that much energy to do that again. So just ask ppl build lor.

i thought coil whine is a deeper more bass vibration type of sound

TBH I'm not sure as I'm fortunate enough to not experience it. My only exp is from YouTube. It sounded quite similar to me, although at a lower intensity.

@Tabula Rasa hi so did you end up going with invaderpc? I’m about to pull the trigger with them after some advice from another member here when comparing with Aftershock.

My friend and I had good experience with Invader PC. My friend had a case fan fail after a month and went down to their Customer Service to repair and they replaced the fan on the spot so didn't have to leave the PC there. Usually Aftershock will take 1-3 days for such a simple service. Other than that, the build quality is great, the support replies to queries fast.

I also DIY my PC but since age has caught up and busy with family, I plan to just go for pre-build from Invader for my next PC... less headache.
