Just shipped my kindle pw, cover and a steelseries mouse from CGW. Opted for the fastest delivery. Just wondering, does CGW ship my package all the way to my address at SG or do I have to get Singpost to pick the package up and delivery them to me?

I'm planning on getting a cover for the device. More of a sleeve actually so that I can house it when not in use and use it naked when I'm reading ebooks on it.

uh yeah abt that, i tracked the shipment and on the dhl website it only shows To: SG-, Singapore. Will this be a problem?

Nope.. not a problem.. it take a while to show up... And dhl will delivered to your SG doorstep

for those who purchased the official covers, how do you find it? i'm presently using an cheapo $10 cover for my kindle and find it a bit too thick. i also looked for covers on etsy but i dont think i can live with the 4 rubber straps at the corners.

Also, what's the likelihood of amazon releasing new designs for the covers? or reducing the price?

Official cover is damn nice. Top grade material, Perfect fit to the kindle, minimal bulk added, and auto on and off work perfectly. Well worth the price i would say. Can definitely feel the difference with cheapo covers.

I also dislike the annoying 4 rubber straps at the corners. Hence I decided to buy the official cover. Loving it so far for all its functions

After using it for 4 days I found the paperwhite flaws such as the bluish hues still bearable. But I suddenly started thinking maybe I should send it back and get a new one. Since there's also a free upgrade to the non-ads version which would cover the cost of shipping it back to sg.

But I'm not sure of what kind of shipping to use to ship it to amazon to return. Any idea from u guys? Jeffyen that time return shipping what shipping u use what ar?

Try this: use your finger and rub on the screen. Sometimes there's some manufacturing 'oils' which may make the screen appear like that. Then, wait for a day.

If you really want to ship it back, just put it in one of those envelopes with the air bubbles. It can be found at the post office. Then just ship it back to the address they gave you. Registered post is about $10 or so I think.

The cheapest way is from amazon direct. It will take a few days though.

There is a store in funan called BeekShop that sells Kindle and is taking orders for paperwhite.

got to agree with jeff. the ones sold in sg way too too overpriced.
