actually i'm wondering.

For Legion 5, the site allows up to 16GB (8x8) but this means if want 32GB, must buy 2x16GB and replace.

If that's the case, might as well just order 8GB Legion 5 and save on the 8GB 2nd stick since gonna upgrade anyway.

Makes sense?

That's what I thought also, and if I have enough RAM, then I won't need to worry so much about setting pagefile settings on the SSD.

I dropped in a 32GB sodimm total 40GB because 8+16GB would be too little though :o

Thanks bro, seems to better on some units

Anybody critique this yoga thinkpad 13.3" around $1K, as a cheap Surface alternative, or should go for ipad 12.9?

128gb ssd only?

oh ya wanted to try compare surface or ipad since they generally 128gb.

but i've changed back to 256gb, only extra $21. :o

though not sure if need 256gb for pure docs work and media consumption while zooming. =:p

For E and L series...
E series is an entry-level, while L series is a Mainstream wannabe

Lenovo created two different products which are similar in so many ways, I really dunno which one to recommend lolz

Here's a few things I can suggest for comparison

1) E series is like the lowest of the Thinkpad. L series is 2nd lowest but it is targetting Garment, enterprise and Education whereby weight and size not really important factors.
that's why L series have features like LTE, mechanical docking, Smartcard reader, as found in the more expensive T series, just in a thicker, less expensive plastic package. But it's weird that E series has better build material

2) both ram slots in L series are not soldered. So it's possible to upgrade. E series. One slot soldered, 2nd slot upgradeable.

3) $80-100 for an additional 8GB??? It's better you buy the ram separately and upgrade DIY

I did a config for both L14 and E14 on Lenovo's website, using Intel Core i5-10210U Processor ( 1.60GHz 6MB ) .

E14 seems to be more expensive than L14. Why?
