2 years onsite was $33.17, increased to $100.. So always buy when you need instead of keep waiting and waiting. But then again, there are some models that already have 2/3 years warranty included. So if you are getting those, now is a good time.

Does anyone knows if the discount code provided by the CSO are better than the usual Frontliner or HZCNSALE?

8GB of RAM might be a bit on the low side. I'd say 16GB minimally.

In any case, if weight is your concern, X13 or T14s. If upgradeability and heat, T14 has one RAM slot for you to add more memory, though some RAM is soldered onboard; there is one extra cooling pipe and more room for air in the T14.

I went with the T14s because I wanted lower weight + larger screen.

why take T14 over Legion5?

Some of us want laptops for work, not so much for games. ;) This isn't a Lenovo gaming thread - it's a Lenovo Ryzen thread.

Edit: Getting the sense here that apparently non-gaming laptop discussions aren't so welcome. Even when sharing discount codes, it's almost as if "If it does not work for my Legion, it's not worth discussing or mentioning".

I thought forums were open to share information to benefit others. Perhaps I missed something in this thread that said it's only for gaming laptops. If so, I apologise and will just leave.

No ah, most of us here welcome all types of discussions, esp when promo codes are involved haha! Only a handful here that keeps recommending legion 5 for everyone and not considering their use case.
