can anyone explain the benefit over the normal cpu? like is it faster? cooler? or benefit in any programme?

You will need to wait for benchies for the answer.
Generally, Threadripper has 12 or 16 cores which would benefit productivity programs which can make use of the cores. For gaming, no point.
It's targeted at workstations. So if you run a lot of VMs, do rendering, intense multi-core workloads, it will be fantastic.

Im still thinking whether should i go for TR or just use AM4. The only reason i would buy TR would be the 8 slots of rams and 64 pcie lanes given on every processor. Unlike intel giving limited pcie lanes when buying such an expensive cpu.
Another thing to consider, TR definitely not so fast to find waterblocks.
