yea already bought but selling away already haha.. wanna go on Amd instead.
Why sell away the 13700k combo? Raptor Lake i7 consume too much power/heat? I'm planning to upgrade my trusty 4790k soon end of this year. I have 3 CPUs in mind currently, i5 13500, 7800X3D or hold out for Raptor Lake Refresh, e.g. i5 14600k.

with 4 years warranty means force to go through distros?

amd rma need to take photo of cpu in your motherboard with paper note of rma number :poop:

If really need just buy lor if you hold the mantra of holding out for the next best thing. Well there is always the next best thing to wait for. But if you prefer Intel then yes wait for the next new socket. I also upgrade my 4770k to 7800X3D.

ya lor, wait for new socket/cpu come out, then wait again for sales and price drops, by then new socket/cpu on the horizon then you will wanna wait again

in the end, its a cycle of waiting nia, if need or hands itchy wanna upgrade, just do it riao

Hi all, would like to know if the Ryzen 5600 at 169 is worth it at this price?

If it is new and box version, I think is a good price. I have been looking at 5600 and 5600X, so far the cheapest i have come across for 5600 is around $190 for box version.

Oops! Just realized this is Zen 4 thread. The question and my reply should be under Zen 3 thread.

Question. Is the asrock b650m riptide mobo okay for a 7800x3d cpu?

I will be using a 6000mhz cl30 ddr5 ram running on xmp ( researched that it does not matter xmp or expo)

Will this cheap entry mobo cause any performance bottleneck vs a better b650m board?

What is " just need a mobo" haha...

Just need to get my 4070ti and 7800x3d performing as it should along with my pcie gen 4 nvme. More importantly the mobo won't hold back any performance right?

I only need 1 m.2 slot for my pcie gen 4 ssd.

Apart from more slots on other expensive mobo, I just concern with performance that's all, whether a cheap mobo vs an expensive mobo has on things like speed and fps.

looking at amazon prices, top up a bit more for gigabyte b650m elite ax with better paper specs. :o
8 layer pcb to safeguard against ddr5 tuning. the included wifi/bt is very helpful

speaking with no experience with either brand for am5.
