Wahh now increase to $85 liao for both shopee and lazada xiaomi store. Moi hoot for $65.5 after $8 store discount and 15% lazada voucher.

Hi my colleague wants to watch soccer using starhub tv+ app. I am using the Google chromecast myself since a few yrs ago when it was cheaper (but the price seemed too expensive for my colleague to buy now).

He is using LG tv so need to get an andriod box. Would Mi Box S Gen 3 be the most cost efficient way to watch his starhub tv+ app?

Thanks. But does the Mi Xiaomi TV stick 4K perform similar functions at a lower price?
Aware that performance wise the box is better than the stick though.

no need tv box or google chromecast. LG tv installed compatiable browser and watch from tv browser with free web base iptv

Recently my colleague wishes to get another one to view iQiyi on another LG tv.
He claimed he cannot download the iQiyi app from the LG ecosystem.
When he checked the price of the same product, it's now more than $100!

Is there a more cost effective way to watch iQiyi on a LG tv (probably not those new models)?

1. Indeed Xiaomi Mi Box S 3rd Gen (2025) and Mi TV Stick 4k 2nd Gen (2025) price have gone up a lot. Same for Xiaomi 4K TV Stick.

If okay to buy second hand, then you may find lower price ones in Carousell. Mi Box Gen 3 and Gen 2, along with Mi TV Stick 4K Gen 2 are all okay to buy. First Gen Mi Box S might be a bit old and slow now.

2. You may also consider Walmart Onn TV boxes if you are okay to buy from US.

3. As for iQiyi TV app international version, indeed, it is only available for Android/Google TV OS, Samsung TV and Apple TV (or Roku and FireTV but they are less common in Singapore).

LG Smart TV is not that smart compared to other smart TVs ...

Similar video about Amazon FireTV devices.

All future Fire TV Sticks from the Fire TV Stick 4K Select onward will run Vega.

Older devices still run Android OS based Fire TV OS.
