Country is just kicking the can down the road. Silver tsunami incoming.

We will eventually reach a stage where the existing working population cannot support our ageing one, medical facilities will be overloaded, and more people will be paying through their noses for private care.

Want a specialist appointment? Sure, that'll be a three year wait. I hope whatever it is you've got hasn't offed you by then.

All because it's so prohibitive financially to have children, so we import workers and their entire villages wholesale for that short burst of paper improvements. But hey, that's the next generation of leaders' problem, right?

In 2020, Singapore's population was 5.62 million. By 2024, the population had increased to 5.83 million. Worldometer estimates the 2025 population to be around 5.87 million.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

  • 2020: 5,620,150
  • 2023: 5,789,090
  • 2024: 5,832,387
  • 2025 (Projected): 5,870,750
go figure

Now go A&E standard time is 2-3 hours minimum to see the loctor and unless you are really life or death even if it’s cases like fall until bone fracture also must wait that long.

So MOH please wake up your idea if you really want to ask people with non emergency cases to go to a polyclinic, better allow walk ins like last time and not tell people to go back home and make an appointment to come down.

As long as they don't see blood spurting out, or patient come in unconscious, it's not serious enough for them... :(

Umm, it's a no brainer if you're gonna spread legs open wide wide. Of course there's going to be high amount of patients?

Want the good things like gdp growth but cannot cater to the demand of medical treatment? How many neighbourhood 24hrs clinics available? Why not trial 24hours polyclinics? What happened to training skilled medical workforce to cater to the influx? Hindsight much?

should pass voucher wong a copy of SIM city..

Study heavy load and still do CCA and still represent university in other matters and can still represent other organisations outside university

When people ask him where he find the time , he can talk shite about time management
