Recent 2 bedder sold at about $1600

Thats quite a bit of a discount. Despite that, sales still not picking up. They need to hit 30% sales right in order to get the bank loan?

Still can wait until after chinese new year for sure

Antares returned unit, developer resold it at a higher price a year later.

I am considering between Antares and Penrose

I like Antares because it is
- 3 mins to MRT
- less than 30mins to central (Chinatown MRT)
- Taxi stand right outside the development
- Bus stop direct opposite development
- 3mins walk to food Centre across the canal
- few min buy ride to Paya Lebar
- with above, the surrounding is still serene
- there are also no other condos around to compete for rental

I have no idea about Penrose but I didn’t like because it’s too near to Geylang redlight district.

So did you finally purchase antares? Which unit you looking at?

antares have all the good stuff mention as i grew up there. but the issue is tat it is too expensive, i was looking at level 9 and the price was crazy during cny and at the start of the china virus...... for those to say too much turns, well, the road will be relight soon, and the rest of the land will be sold as residential

Yes price is too close to paya lebar ppr for my liking. Appreciation will be capped if ppr doesnt appreciate to 21xx. But what how much discount from developer is acceptable to enter? Notice developer hasnt increased the price since launch day

The properties around Antares are depressed, contributing in their poor sales.
If u buy there, god bless u.
There’s a reason why penrose day 1 is 60% sold

Beg to differ, Antares developer has increased price on bounced out unit actually.

Parc esta has increased the price. Left the higher end now lol. Different quite a gap from the launch price right? Require to wait long long to realise profit. Reckon i’ll wait for better opportunity.

Yeah that’s true, across board prices had increase even for Penrose and Antares.

Antares seems to be selling well and I heard developer will be increase price. How is it going at penrose?
Guess Antares is better if psf is almost similar since Antares will likely TOP earlier than penrose.

Sales volume is getting higher over the past few months. > 10 units sold in May.
Not bad the trending.

If talking about now, i will prefer The Antares for the fact that it is next to MRT, city fringe and first mover advantage.
Penrose will definitely be better if you are one of the lucky ones who manage to buy during ballot.
