Why suddenly so many of these vs threads?
Because buying properties now is no longer buying your first choice property.
it is about buying the lesser of the leftover evils.
if never buy something many pple can’t sleep :o

Property become "cheap" now due to low interest rate & trending up price and if don't get now, next time can't afford! FOMO!:cry:

Land bid gg up like crazy. Take up rates at new launch also red hot. Resale price gap expected to close too. Not now maybe never?

Now the buying mentality is like if I don’t cast my net wider and if I wait longer, I may not even get a Dino bu. :(
I saw Guoco plans for the Lentor site like not bad wor, they have detailed plans to revamp Lentor. But whether it would justify $2100psf not it’s another thing.

Ya sia, now the take up rate for Antares 78% riao. 2b2b left not much, ppl will start comparing for 3br between penrose and antares. Dino bu at expressway vs dino bu at longkang.

Not sure how Guoco sell LH 99 at 2.1k psf if FH Calrose across the road is going for 1.4k psf. Granted that one is older and has bay window, the price gap is huge.

What to do in a seller’s market.. any prediction how this will ease? Upcoming GLS supply also not enough to curb current demand

Hehe not just that, That’s why we have some naive and defensive NP owners who keep saying NP is a hot selling project and 1000 buyers can’t be wrong.
Looks like they didn’t know pple now r buying out of FOMO and not because NP, midwood or Antares are good in terms of their pricing or surrounding attributes.
Simply because many pple after seeing lentor and amk GLS price all now become Gan jiong spider liao. Like don’t buy something cfm can’t sleep :o

imo this is nothing compared to what is to come... Imagine if AMK launch at 2000-2100psf & response is strong. Thats when the real panic buy will start.

There are only 2 units with OTP issued at 20XXpsf. Does anybody know if these 2 buyers exercised their OTPs ?

Don't bounce leh. Set records for PR. Then the tide will float all boats. LOL

These two buyers must have kenna laughed by their peers and under a lot of stress.
but it’s a good thing if they really forfeit.
Better to lose 1.25% than lost a few hundred k when exit. :o

2 units would not affect the bigger scheme of things.

They would probably be the outlier, in every project there are outliers, it’s like the $1.295m Bishan DBSS, unless there are more units reselling at that price, price trend would not be affected.

when Pinnacle first sold above $1m it caused a big hooha, but after a few units resale at above $1m then it becomes a normalcy
