Good choice for location and connectivity. BTS station in 5 minutes. Shopping mall and amenities, checked. It is an Ibis brand, so the hotel is assured.

You can read reviews from TripAdvisor.
I just read, some good and bad reviews. From the bad reviews, I will not stay there to try my luck.
I stay in Sukhumvit Suites Hotel before, near T21 shopping mall, hotel is small and room without windows, basically a normal hotel. I given a 4 stars review.

yes, but Ibis brand means tiny beyond tiny rooms. And really, Ibis is quite a lack of service oriented end brand in terms of what they are. The protection a bit low in my opinion.

I do not disagree with you. I only comment on what I regard as a clean place to sleep and well-kept amenities for the night and then set off from for tourist activities in Bangkok. If one's objective is to stay in a plush hotel and enjoy service, one has to move up the scale to Pullman or Novotel.

There is always option between Ibis vs Pullman or Novotel.
If room to small, will have problem in open big luggage.

Centrepoint - like service apartment with kitchenette but not that new
Glow - convenient with Mc downstairs

Baiyoke Sky and Grand Diamond i stayed before too. but consider quite old liao and got few stories too.
