Using the Nike+ app on my 1st gen Apple watch is actually quite frustrating.
1. App is laggy, takes a few seconds to update from the phone. Seems to have improved slightly after latest update.
2. Watch is unresponsive to sweaty fingers.
3. Heart rate is captured on the watch, but not reflected on the phone.
Anyone used the Nike+ app on both the 1st and Series 2 watch? Is the app still as laggy?
went for a run with my Nike+ watch just now.
my experience with the watch seems different from what was reviewed:
1. it takes 1/2s from the moment I flick my watch towards the screen to light up
2. battery - with GPS and HRM, dropped 30% in 2 hours. Will monitor.
Shld be on the upper left corner, in red.

Sorry, it's in green, not red.
Thanks. Didn't even notice that HR is top left. Will monitor again.
I went for a run yesterday with Apple Watch Nike+ and also Garminn Vivo Active. Nike+ accuracy is very bad.
Garmin VA showing 23.1km
Apple Watch Nike+ showing 28.45km.
fitbit 15.08km,
Apple Nike+ 15.38km
First two km were spot in. Then the Nike+ became faster. I know that some people mentioned that Nike+ is slower.
yesterday I ran with 3 watches - Nike+, fitbit, Garmin
Garmin and Fitbit are close, but after 6km, Garmin becomes faster.
So, there are inconsistencies even between dedicated running watches.
Will test further.
Post your result when available. Thanks.

I run with Nike+ app on my iPhone, and with Apple's workout app on my series 0 watch (with BT on so it should be getting the GPS from my iPhone). They both register different mileage, sometimes the Nike+ more, sometimes less.
I also run with my friends, with 3 of us on iPhones, 2 using Nike+ app, another 1 using RunKeeper, and all 3 log different mileage too.
What gives? BTW, these runs are usually at ECP, whereby there aren't much interference.
When it comes to phone's built in GPS and different Apps, I am not too sure. Throw in dedicated GPS watches into the mix and we get even more deviations.
Still, it is good to find out whether our Apple watches (original, series 1 & 2) can be used for running using GPS
anyone know where still have stock for the 42mm nike watch?
What color are you looking at?
