Pineapple cake / tart can try Ming Ang. The squarish one. Not sweet but ala carte.

Ming ang all along have mini pine apple tarts. Super sweet and not cheap.

I think only their pandan pastry and Siew bao are nice.

Quite like it. Maybe my tastebud chui already. Felt it was more fragrant than sweet.

Prefer lavender pineapple tarts

If buy from sg lavender it's almost 2x the price.

Bought new year goods at Ksl.

The selection are better at Ksl than city square for sure.

Specialty muar cookies at around $7, you can get ntuc quality in Singapore. But their tarts are alot sweeter, can't find any pineapple tarts that are not as sweet.

Fish skin at rm15 per can.

But remember to taste first, got one 啊嬷 whatever, taste super artificial.

Sutera Mall is another better one to shop if you don't mind the distance. The advantage is I think that their super market has a better range of items.

These CNY stuffs are a bit unhealthy for me. I'm cutting down. I usually go to JB to run errands or chillax.

So far all the dim sum in JB i had are rubbish. They are cheap but not great like factory made.

I go Mr Long around Tuta area, longer than 5km near sutera.

Since this reco i marked it on my calendar, nvr had the chance to go since they close so early.

Not good at all.
Maybe cause they fasting all anyhow make. They known for their xlb but the skin so thick.

Imo only slightly better than say yes at sutera

Had to purposely make a trip to chang man dim sum to make up for the disappointment...

3 pretty good wanton noodles near taman sentosa area

For all 3, I ordered black sauce with chilli.
All 3 similarly price. Rm9-10 plus minus

This the noodles more q.
Seasoning quite well balanced.

Wanton quite nice also. Enough meat too.

2. KEDAI KOPI XUU YAU 品苑云吞面

This used to be at jalan tan hiok nee. Now is near plaza sentosa that area.
I went to check it out aft eating at sheng ji as it was rather close by. For some reason google maps cannot read this shop pin.
Walked from sheng ji to plaza sentosa, then to this shop.
Wouldn't suggest walking this path unless you are the fearless type.
Plaza sentosa is exactly how I imagine communities would be post-apocalypse.
The whole mall every lot is pretty much unoccupied and all run down, abandoned. But in center artium area, they setup individual food stalls like hawker center, Tables set up, etc.
PA system setup, locals using the mall as theur karaoke.
Really have fallout game vibes.


Noodles not as q but still pretty good.
Their selling point is the flavours are stronger. Boomers who like 重口味 will like this more.


3. Good Taste Full Egg Wantan Noodle 好味全旦

This is inside a coffeeshop called 胜阳茶室餐厅 ST TOH. It's beside mosaic Southkey condo.

This is also pretty good. Noodles springy. Flavours pretty good, can compete with sheng ji. But their wanton little meat.
Plus point is they in a coffeeshop. Other ppl can eat other stuff. There got seafood/fish soup not bad.
