despite all these power from the sd820, s7 touchwiz still lag and hang once in a while. i'd suggest you guys that wants to upgrade wait a little for the bugs to be sorted out first. nexus 6p still the best phone to have with the vanilla android and fastest update from google.

Wait for 1 or 2 updates and it will be fine. S6 also had lots of lag when just launched but within a week or so, the firmware updates solved everything till now. Samsung may not update to latest android version the fastest but they solve issues fastest in my opinion.

Nexus5x until now after 5 mths still lag despite few useless updates. The camera app still freezes despite so many complaints. Having the latest android does not mean it's the best as it may have more bugs than others.

My first Android phone was HTC hero. I remember it wasn't lag actually. It's more of the software

It's really software, not so much on hardware that affects the lag.

Having use s6 and note5 for sometime, they are very smooth, seldom lag. Same for HTC phones in general even when they use the mediatek SOC, no lag at all as sense ui is very optimised.

Lg g4 sometimes do lag and homepage refresh quite often. Oneplus2 also lags sometimes despite having s810 and 4gb ram. Nexus 5x is the worst of all in last year phones, though stock android and almost same hardware as g4 and motox style, it lags very often....

So my conclusion is software is key. It already shows that iOS only need sufficient hardware and it can run smoothly.

Stock marshmallow in my opinion is the worst android version so far. Lags like hell and camera app freezes frequently which makes me lose many important shots many times.

Samsung touchwiz in general is very good and since s6 had become better, almost as smooth as sense ui.
My Nexus 9 lag is confirmed due to hardware leh.

Speed aside, the stopwatch weird behavior. Is it a bug?? The stopwatch keeps on running in the background on my Note 4 though.....

I'll probably be heading to Vivo at 10+ also after I drop my Son in school. Probably don't need to go to early as set is confirmed but I'm excited haha.

Also wanna decide what to spend the $100 voucher on. Any suggestions? Wireless charger and the battery casing?

Definitely software , their Optimisation was bad..

I remember a Dev called mike Super optimising the HTC stock Roms making them smooth as butter. Thank god for such people. :vijayadmin:
