(Edited) I want to buy an inflight duty-free item on their Scootalogue (March to June issue) magazine here: https://cdn.flyscoot.com/prod/docs/default-source/doc-shopping/scootalogue_mar19.pdf and have to ask you’all for a favour.

Anyone flying with them any time soon? It seems to be available on most flights, no harm asking though. I wrote in asking if there is any way they can help and the answer is no...

“Thank you for writing to us. We wish to inform you that items is only available onboard. We regret that we are unable to accede to your request.

For inflight sales... Some items are not available/available for selected routes

Maybe you can rephrase your question in this manner

KL definitely cheap - but to be fair is very close

KL is usually about $60+ , same applies to Penang when there is a sales
For Phuket, usually is $90+ when they having sales
For bangkok, usually is about $100 to $115 if there is sales
For Taipei, usually is about $190+ (unless have good sales is $70+)

That’s for the prices! Can I plz check.... your prices listed include a check in bag or not?

price is base fare + taxes .
not including optional add on such as luggage checked in, meals, seats selections, insurance, etc ...

For myself and friends, we usually wont choose seats when flying on budget airline ... Because our names are booked under one booking, so we would most likely sit together ...

Depending on your destinations ... For Hong Kong, perhaps full fledged and budget airline pricing would not differ much ...

For Bangkok, now SQ having $198 sales. For budget airline, is usually about $115 to $150+ , if u add in luggage, would be slightly cheaper than SQ.
but SQ promo fare departs only at 4pm onwards ... hence timing not so good.
Only good thing is they allows Fri departure and Sun arrival into Singapore ...

Budget airline only worth flying if you won't avail of the add on's, also compare to other budget airline, I actually prefer Scoot since they have 10kg cabin allowance which should be sufficient if you pack light and with the right luggage.

Only thing I don't like is cannot bring outside food.

scoot seems to be more strict.
Flew before scoot 787, someone eating fries on the aircraft, the staff told him to discard it ...

Flew scoot a320 (last time tiger), flew to taipei, many eating snacks, the staff dont bother ...

Flew Jetstar, many times passengers eating snacks or bread, the staff dont care ...

Scoot just changed my flight due to some ops constraint and they chartered a SQ plane as replacement. Just wondering if the inflight entertainment will be switched off throughout since it was not offered by Scoot in the first place?

encountered before such situation once ...
if you have purchased emergency row, the row number might have changed, since is a different aircraft ...

they do not switch on the ife ...
just treat as normal scoot aircraft, but with slightly better leg space perhaps ...
